The project
Project conceived together with two other architects in collaboration with the architecture studio David Cerini, from Milan. Developed for the first phase of the competition for the regional headquarters of the Fire Department of Como, in the city of Lecco, Italy.
The concept
The presence of Lake Como (the third largest in Italy) served as a guideline for the concept applied to the project: opening part of the unit for public use, generating greater integration between the building and the existing context. The development in levels allows the effective sectorization of the building, besides serving as a connection element between lake and city, not setting up a barrier, but a point of interest for the residents.
